“Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”  Colossians 4:6.  I cannot stress it enough that you or I may be the only Bible someone reads, and that we must stay true to what the Bible actually says.  We need to live as we should, as actions often speak louder than words.  Yet, we need to make sure that we are speaking what is true.  Our words matter, and if we as Christians constantly put others down with our words then that will be a negative witness to someone else.  However, if our conversation is full of grace, and seasoned with salt, then others will listen to us.  It says in 1 Peter 3:15 that when asked, we are to give an answer for our hope with gentleness and respect.  We are to be polite with others.  Now, we do have to be bold with our faith, but that does not mean that we cannot be loving at the same time.  We have to watch what we say and how we say it so that we will honor God and be a good witness to others, on top of being careful in how we act.  Time is far too short for us as God’s children to live any way we please, we must live as He would have us to, seeking to make disciples of the nations.  God Bless!
