“And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was great calm.” Mark 4:39. Winds can be strong, today at my house there were gusts strong enough that I thought two oak trees were going to fall. Yet, even the most powerful winds have to obey the Word of God. God is in control all the time, even when we feel like our world is falling apart around us. God will bring good out of those times, He will help us to grow in those times. Even when the winds howl, and the waves crash, God will help us to follow His will and learn to trust Him more. He will help us to give Him glory in any situation so that we can maybe plant a seed in the life of someone else or encourage fellow Christians. In Psalm 23 it talks about not fearing in the valley of the Shadow of Death, and we don’t have to because God is with us. We do not have to fear the storms, the trials or anything that comes our way. We do not have to fear the attacks of Satan, because God will help us to move past them in victory. Now, I’m not saying that everything will be easy, because God did not say that it would be easy, but He said He would be with us and that He has us in the palm of His hands. God will be with us, and help us to get past any trial so that we can glorify His name and learn to trust Him more. God Bless!
