“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28. We will all face hard times on our way through life. Satan will attack anybody and everybody who seeks to serve the Lord. Satan may use temptations, he may shut what looks like a door God has opened, or he may throw health problems at you. Satan uses different things for different people. Yet we must remain strong for in due time we will reap if we remain faithful, if we do not give up. I’ve got a friend trying to run a business that he uses to share his faith and he has been battling with Satan daily. He has told me he felt like Job from the Old Testament, and from what I’ve seen it appears to be a pretty accurate comparison. I’ve heard all my life that the person God wants to use the most is the one Satan attacks the most. God has a special anointing on my friend, and God has given him various tools and platforms to share his faith. Yet it seems like Satan put a target on my friend’s back, and he has been giving him a lot of grief. I just know that God is about to open a door for my friend, I am praying for my friend to have peace, and that God would give Him extra strength. Like my friend, we have to stay faithful when our hard times come. We have to remain rooted in Christ, we have to stay standing on the Rock, on He that is our Sure Foundation. There will come a time when we will finally get to stand on the mountain top and we will be able to praise the Lord for getting us through yet another trial and using it to help us grow in Him.
