Today I got to watch part of the prayer march and it was so cool to see so many brothers and sisters in Christ gather to pray for the nation, for healing, and for the lost.  I wished I could have been there.  There is a song that I like called, “Sound of the Saints”, Audio Adrenaline and I think a few other groups do that song.  There is something in the sound of the saints singing together and praising the Name above all Names.  I heard that there was somebody leading worship there at the prayer march in the group.  Although praise is a glorious sound, there is also something about the sound of the saints praying together.  Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of people put away their differences and focused on the most important thing they had in common, Christ.  They all prayed for this country, they were praying for healing for our land, and they were praying for the growth of God’s Kingdom.  It would have been a very special experience to have been in the middle of that crowd and heard all the prayers and praises going up to heaven.  I can only imagine the smile that God had on His face to see His children work together today.  I did not see or hear about any sibling rivalry amongst God’s Children, rather they all prayed and presented their desires to God.  It was a truly beautiful thing.  One day, we will get to see all of our brothers and sisters in Christ, even those two thousand years older than us.  In heaven we will get to praise with our siblings in Christ and it will be a truly incredible choir.  God has so much in store for us when we get to heaven, and to praise with everyone else who is connected to the True Vine will be amazing.  It is a large part of what we will do in heaven, but I believe that we will do so much more in heaven, and all of what we do will bring honor to God.  We serve God here on earth a little bit, because we still struggle with sin, but in heaven, we will serve God a lot because in whatever we do there, we will be lifting God’s name high.  We will praise Him with every action there, and this is something we strive for here on earth.  Though we wrestle with sin, we should seek to praise God’s name with every breath, and in whatever we do.  We should seek to serve God as much as we possibly can now, so that hopefully we can sow a seed into the life of someone else, or maybe even be there when that person accepts Christ.  I hope that God used the events today to draw people to repentance, and that many accepted Christ as Savior.  I want the celebration in heaven to be because not only did God’s people gather, but because there were many born into the family of God.  “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,” John 1:12.  God Bless!
