We have to use alarm clocks to get up on time. We have to use timers in the kitchen to avoid having the smoke alarms tell us that dinner is ready. People need wall clocks, clocks on microwaves, clocks on their phones, and wrist watches to keep up with the time and make sure that we are always on time. We even have clocks in our cars that seem to make us think we will be late if the light doesn’t hurry up and change so we can go. Our lives seem to revolve around time, making time for this and that, meeting deadlines or due dates, and getting to work on time. We have to have clocks to help us make sure that we are on time for those things, isn’t it good that God doesn’t need a clock? God is always on time, He doesn’t just all of a sudden look down at His watch and think, “Oh my gosh, I’m late to send a miracle to him!” or even, “Oh no, she is thinking that I am up here asleep and not moving like I should.” God is always on time. Even when His timing and our timing are different, He is always perfectly on His timing which is always perfectly aligned with His will. His is the timing we should desire. When we are expecting something, or we are in trouble and need God to do another miracle, He always sends aid on time. He always moves when it is right. We do not need to be anxious, Paul wrote, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:6-7. Do not be anxious, over anything, rather, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving present your requests to God. Then the peace of God, which is greater than anything our minds can understand, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. His peace will give you hope, it will keep you sane when you feel like it is all falling apart. Trust His timing, pray, present your requests to the Father, and place it in His hands. Trust Him with it, and let Him give you His peace to hold onto instead of your cares. God Bless!
