“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:37. The Bible goes on to talk about that it would be business as normal in the next verse. That there would be marriage and feasting, and various things. In the days of Noah, there was also great sinfulness. It broke God’s heart at the amount of sinfulness that was present during the days of Noah, so much so that He even regretted making mankind. So when we see the phrase, “as the days of Noah were” we know that it means great wickedness on top of business as usual. In the days of Noah, people were brazen with their wickedness. No one seemed to be ashamed of their wrongdoing. This appears to be how it is today. Many are not ashamed of doing wrong, because many see it as a new normal or a new freedom, when in all actuality it is only causing harm. As Christians, we have to be more bold with our faith. If people are going to be unashamed of wrong then we had better not be ashamed of doing what is right. We need to stand up and proclaim the truth of Christ to all people. Time is getting shorter and shorter. We do not have time to waste. There is no more time for being a lazy and spineless Christian. We have to work for Christ and be bold for Him. I’m not perfect, I make mistakes too, but that doesn’t make them right. We have to follow God’s will so that others will see our good works and give glory to God. We do not work for our own glory but for God’s, so that hopefully more people will come to Him. Stand firm in your faith, do not back down. We should not be ashamed of Christ, because He was not ashamed of us. God Bless!
