“Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 HCSB. We cannot see God, but we can see what He has done. We can see how He has transformed the lives of others, and as Christians we can see for ourselves how He has changed us and is continuing to help us grow into better people. We should desire to grow our faith. We should do our best to grow closer to God. So that when tough times come, we will know that we can trust in Him. Also that our witness will be good. I am not saying that we should try to look good in front of others, rather, when life throws a curve-ball we need to be able to trust God genuinely so that others may say, “I want to be able to handle a problem the way they do” or “I don’t know what it is that they have, but I need some of it” The more we grow our faith and the more we live out our faith the better we can share our faith in Christ. People will not want to have a relationship with Christ when we as Christians live unaffected by salvation. Rather, people will want to know more about Christ when we as Christians share the Love of God, when we serve, when we forgive, and when we are compassionate towards others. Faith is the proof of what is not seen, it is the evidence for the unseen. When our faith changes us for the better, then it is true evidence. When Christians live indifferent towards the gospel of Jesus Christ, then the evidence appears false to people who have not received Christ as Savior. Seek to live rooted in Christ, built up in Him, so that you will provide others with evidence of the truth of Christ. God Bless!
