I love to help others at the archery range when I can. I want to do what I can so that others can become a better shot. Whether I’m showing somebody how to fix something, or just talking to them, I want to do what I can to help them. As Christians, we should strive to talk to others about Christ. He is a friend who can help us solve any problem that we may face. In fact He solved our greatest problem, sin. Because of our sin, we cannot get to heaven, so Christ came to earth, lived a sinless life, but died in our place. He died and took the punishment for our sin, even though He did not deserve it, then on the third day He rose back to life so that we could be forgiven of our sins and granted eternal life. All we have to do is confess that Jesus is Lord and Savior, ask God to be saved and forgiven, and believe in our heart that God raised Christ from the dead. This is the message that we as Christians need to share. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 NIV. This is the message of truth, and it is the message of God’s Love. God wants to help us, He wants to be a firm foundation for our lives. He wants to be a fortress for us. God wants to fix the mess that we made of our lives in sin and help us to live for Him. He wants to guide us with His written Word, the Bible. He will help us to live for Him, and He will never abandon us when trouble comes. God Bless!
