“Jesus wept. Then the Jews said, “See how he loved him!” John 11:35-36. I’ve heard a lot of people speculate as to why Jesus wept at Lazarus’ tomb. Pretty much any way you look at it, it is because of Jesus’ great Love, as He is Love. It could have been that He wept because His friend had to endure suffering. He could have wept out of compassion because others were hurting. It could have been a host of reasons. Any way you look at it, there is no doubt of Christ’s Love. Each one of us can look back and see Christ’s hand in our lives. We can see how His Love for us has played a role in our lives. He wants to be with us always, and if we will accept Him, then He will be. He will never leave us to deal with problems alone. He will not run away when troubled times come. He will be there to see us through and to help us win the victory. Jesus Loves us and wants to always be with us, He gave His life to save ours. Our sins will keep us out of heaven, so Christ came and died in our place, He took our punishment. Then He rose again on the third day, and now if we will confess that He is Lord and Savior, ask God for forgiveness and to be saved, and believe that God raised Christ from the dead, we will be saved. Our sins will be forgiven, and when we die we will go to heaven, unless the Lord calls us home first. But until that day, Jesus will be with us, and He will give us the Holy Spirit, to help us, comfort us, and guide us in God’s Will. He will help us to live as we should and to live out our purpose. God Bless!
