There are certain topics I try to write on about once a month, humor is one of them.  I believe that God wants us to be able to laugh, there are all kinds of good things that we can laugh about without being rude, mean, or just outright dirty.  We can often times laugh at ourselves when we have a little accident.  For example, my Mom and I had been helping my grandmother one day.  After we were through working we gathered up everything so we could put it back where it went.  Well, where I have a broken arm right now, I have to use my pants pockets to carry things in.  I saw my grandmother’s cell phone sitting on one of the blocks, and so I was going to take it to her but had to carry it in my pocket.  Well, I went ahead and grabbed a few other things and put them up.  I went back to my house a little later, had some supper, and went about my evening routine.  I then came into the computer room to write the verse, I wasn’t sure what to write about so I sat back a second, and my arm touched something in my pocket.  It was my grandmother’s cell phone.  At first, I felt like a fool, but then I just laughed at myself.  I thought it was funny, because I can hardly keep up with my own phone sometimes, but the Lord knew I had kept hers safe and sound.  I could have easily got aggravated thinking, “Oh gosh, I’ve done it again, I’m so dumb!”  Or, I could just laugh about it.  What is the point in getting aggravated, everybody has a little accident from time to time.  I find it is better to try to look at the better side of things, because when we do, we can give God more glory when we are cheerful than when we are upset.  We can know that He doesn’t have little accidents, He keeps track of everything that goes on.  He holds us in His very hands.  He also held the phone that was in my pocket, making sure that I didn’t lose it, making sure that it did not fall out and something happen to it.  Now, I will try to be a little more careful, but I am thankful that God watches out for us when things like this happen.  He watches out for us at all times, and I am thankful for that.  This is why I can laugh at what happened, because God made sure that everything was alright.  “The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”  Psalm 121:8.  I also know that God will watch over me as I take my grandmother’s phone to her real quick.  God Bless!
