One thing that aggravates me, to put it nicely, is to see people kneeling during the National Anthem, or to disrespect our flag in any way. Many lost their lives 19 years and 4 days ago trying to rescue the people trapped in the rubble from the terrorist attacks on 9/11. There have been so many more lives sacrificed so that our flag can wave freely in every town in our country. Our rights have been protected by the countless men and women who have served our country. It is an outright shame for people to mock the flag. As more and more people kneel during the National Anthem, we as Christians need to kneel before our Father in heaven. We need to be praying for our country, for its leaders, for the election, and for our fellow Americans. We need to pray that God would work on their hearts and minds so that they will see the truth, and so that they will begin to follow Him before it is too late. We need to pray for His will to be done in America and for us to have the wisdom, the strength, and the faith to follow Him in whatever direction that He will lead us. We need, “In God We Trust” to be truer now than it ever has been in this country. I have been praying for at least one last revival to sweep through all of this nation. God has been working on the hearts of our fellow countrymen already in various cities ravaged by rioting and looting. I am thankful for those added to His Kingdom even with all of the chaos we see, yet I pray that so many more will come to know Christ in all of this. God can do it, and I believe that many more will still come to Him because of all of the things going on around us, and as Christians we need to be praying for those people. We need to be true representatives of Christ and lighting the way for those around us. Our light should shine brighter than that of the buildings on fire, and our message should be that of the truth and Love of Christ. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16. God Bless!
