Sometimes when things happen we look at the negatives. As Christians we cannot afford to do this. We have to look at the positive side of things, and even when we feel rattled, when we have to look hard to find the good in something, we need to do it. It can be easy to throw ourselves a pity party, it can be easy to complain, and the more we do that the more chance that gives Satan to tempt us to say or think things that we shouldn’t. We cannot give him that chance, rather we should seek out the chance to give God glory. We need to thank God for another day and for being with us at the very least. When bad things happen our eyes should go to our Heavenly Father, instead of our mouths beginning to complain. This will be difficult, but God will help us to do it. God will bring good from a situation, and we can rely on that fact. We can praise Him for that fact as well. Paul wrote that he knew how to go through good times and bad times both, and that, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13. Christ will give us the strength we need to get the job done, and to do it with a good witness for Him. In all things we need to praise God, even when it is hard, because we will be better for it in the long run, but more importantly because God deserves all glory and honor. God Bless!
