I was driving back to the house today and at a red light there was a car in front of us that had a torn bumper sticker. What remained of the sticker said, “Pray for” and that was it, the rest had torn off or something had happened to it. Today there are so many things to pray for. There are so many things going on, so many people that need peace and that need hope. There are people that need healing, people that need a way out. There are people dealing with what most consider minor things, but, to certain people are important. There is an endless list of things to give to God right now, but that is why Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, “pray continually”. We have no excuse to not be praying. We should be thanking God for all that He has given us, and we should also be praying for those in need and for our leaders. Even though we have an endless list of things to pray for, we also have a limitless God. We know that He is able to work all things out. We know that nothing is too big for Him. He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He is the One Who was, Who is, and Who is to come. He is the Almighty. When we pray, we know that God will take care of our needs. He will give hope and peace to those who need it. He is still the Great Physician that can heal anything or give grace to endure. He can take care of major or minor matters. It does not matter what is going on in the world, God is still King, and He has control at all times. His reign is forever! God Bless!
