Skim milk is milk that has been watered down substantially.  It is almost to the point that you can’t call it milk anymore, there may be a little tiny bit of milk, but that’s it.  There are many who water down the Word of God.  They compromise on their beliefs because the message of Christ does not sit well with some people.  Most do not like to hear that they are sinners, nor do they want to think of the punishment they deserve, that we all deserved.  Yet as Christians who have accepted Christ and know what happens to people who die rejecting Christ, we cannot sit idly by because our message is unpopular.  The truth is the truth regardless of our feelings.  As Christians, we are called to share God’s Word with others, not a watered down version.  We are to preach the truth, and truth is found in Christ for He is the way, the truth, and the life.  “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.”  Ezekiel 33:7.  As children of God we are watchmen, and we are to warn the people around us about what happens if they die in their sins.  We should not let fear of any kind or pride of any kind hinder our efforts.  God will make a way for us to speak and He will give us the words to say if we will only say them.  Too many have watered down the gospel for the sake of having so called “friends” or for the sake of being popular.  Many have tried to wash away the Bible in order to save face when someone calls the Bible “hate speech”.  The Bible is not hate speech, it calls us out on our sin, and it also tells us of the Savior calling us out from sin and into forgiveness.  The Bible explains how God is willing and wanting to save all who will come to Him in repentance and that He will bring those into heaven who have confessed Christ as Lord and Savior.  Jesus Christ died and rose again because He Loves us, not because He hates us.  If one will confess that Jesus is Lord and Savior, ask God to save and forgive them, and simply believe in their heart that Jesus Christ was raised by God from the dead, they will be saved from eternal punishment and be given eternal life.  It is that simple.  We do not deserve to go to heaven, nobody on earth is “entitled” to heaven, rather we are entitled to the punishment our sin deserves.  Yet God Loved us so much that He made a way for us to go to heaven, and as Christians we have to share the news of the way God made for us.  It is not to be watered down, heaven and hell are real places, and that awkward or uncomfortable moment we face is worth their eternity.  God Bless!
