I apologize for being late with the verse this evening, but for tonight I want to talk about the armor of God. It says in Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” Then Paul wrote again in verse 13 to put on the Armor. When God says anything, we need to pay close attention, but when He repeats Himself, then we should make sure beyond the shadow of a doubt that we are taking what God says and doing what we can to apply it to our lives. God wants us to learn from and to live by all of what He has said, and when He repeats Himself, it is not to bore us, rather, it is because He Loves us and is wanting to make sure that we take note of what He is saying. We have to keep the Armor on at all times. We need to keep the breastplate of righteousness, down to the shoes of the gospel of peace, all the way up to the helmet of salvation. We need to rise up in the armor and go to sleep in the armor. We need to guard our thoughts, our hearts. We need to be rooted in God’s Word, so that when trials or any hard time comes, we can stand firm in Christ and follow His will. God Bless!
