Normally, GOD’s Archers gets to attend various events and teach Bible lessons using the parts of the arrow, and help participants shoot real bows and arrows. This year has been a little different, and we were only able to work at one event this year thus far, but don’t get me wrong, we had a blast at that event and hope that the participants were able to learn something. I wanted to share our presentation with those of you who maybe hadn’t seen it or read it. Tonight, I want to start with the tip of the arrow. The tip of the arrow is fairly sharp, that way when you shoot the arrow will stick in the target. God wants His Word to stick in our hearts, not to hurt us, but just the opposite. God wants us to remember how much He Loves us. He wants us to remember how we are to live and that we are never alone. God even had His Word written the way it was just so that we could remember it. For example, (I’ll do this during the lesson depending on the circumstances) can you say John 3:16 without looking in your Bible? Now, some people haven’t heard the verse or haven’t memorized it, but for those who can remember it, that is an example of how God’s Word has stuck in their hearts. God wants us to remember His Love and that He is always with us. The more we read God’s Word, the more that it will stick with us, and we will be better off because of that. God Bless!
