Tonight I want to look at the fletching of the arrow.  The fletching guides the arrow through flight, it steers the arrow towards its mark.  It says in Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”  God uses His Word to teach us the way we should live.  He puts rules and guidelines in His Word for us to follow.  His rules are there to protect us.  Also, when one accepts Christ, God sends the Holy Spirit to live in that person.  The Holy Spirit gives peace, and also guidance.  For example, when you run into somebody, you may feel led to say something to them concerning God, and that is the Holy Spirit leading you to speak, and there will be other times that He leads you to not say anything under other circumstances.  You will know when the Spirit is leading you to do something, there is just something about it.  We need to make sure to answer the call and take action when He leads.  I’ve had times personally where I could feel God just wanting me to say something, and it was like that moment came and left in a split second because I hesitated to speak.  God will guide us, both by the Spirit and by His Word.  He will lead us on the path He wants us to follow.  We may not always see what lies ahead because humans are finite, we are limited.  God is infinite in His wisdom and understanding, He sees the big picture, and He has a plan for you and for me that plays a part in that big picture.  We need to follow it.  God Bless!
