So I spent the last few days writing about the lessons that we use, and one thing I want to mention, is that no matter what lesson/gospel presentation you give, let the audience know that you are available to answer any questions they may have.  This shows that you care for your audience, and this increases the probability that they will take what you have shared with them to heart.  Jesus told us, “And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'” Matthew 22:39.  When it comes to giving a lesson or gospel presentation in front of a group of people, do we show that we love them and care about them if A, we get up, go through the lesson, and sit back down, or B, we get up, we greet them, go through the lesson, and then tell them if they have questions or want to talk about accepting Christ that we will be there?  Of course B is the answer, but so often we forget to show the love of God to someone while we share the love of God.  When we speak, do we let the Spirit of God speak through us, or do we hinder Him and try to leave Him out of the picture, the one He created?  Now, making ourselves available does not just apply when we teach Sunday School, or speak in front of a group.  If you are talking with a friend, or anyone else for the matter, make sure that they know, they can talk to you.  That way conversation may arise in which God is able to use you to either encourage that person, or even share the gospel with them and you get to see them accept Christ.  When you open yourself up to conversation like this, you also have to open God’s Word and study.  It is easier to share what you know instead of what you don’t know.  The more you know and understand of God’s Word the better.  In fact, if a friend sees you reading your Bible, that can spark a conversation that God can use for His glory, and for the eternal benefit of your friend possibly.  God will use you to share His Word if you are open to Him, but make sure that others know they can open up to you if they need to.  God Bless!
