I want to thank you all again for praying for my arm.  My appointment today went great, and I’ll share how it went later, but for now I want to ask you to pray for a good friend of mine.  He has been fighting one uphill battle after another and he has told me that he felt like Job in the Bible.  He messaged me a few days ago, and told me that he was going to have back surgery in four weeks, he would need pins and screws put in, and he would be out of commission for about three months or so.  I want you to pray for God to bless my friends healing and that God will give him the peace and confidence I have felt lately.  I want you to pray that God would heal my friend fast and give my friend opportunities to talk about the Lord as he goes to the doctor.  I want God to bless my friend’s healing, just as He has mine.  I know that God is still the great physician.  We went to the doctor today about my arm, and the appointment went well, actually, well is an understatement.   I had no proof, but something in me just knew that my bones were healing very well.  When we got to the doctor, they took an x-ray first thing, and I saw my doctor a few minutes later.  He said that my x-rays looked very good, and by the tone of his voice I could tell that he was quite impressed with how they looked.  He released me to start doing more activities, now, of course I have to build up gradually, but I’m just thankful God has blessed my healing the way He has.  I’m going to be honest, it felt good to drive my truck on the road again.  I got it one week before I broke my arm, and today was the first day I was able to drive it on the road again.  Archery is another thing that has been a topic of conversation since I broke my arm.  At first, we weren’t sure how it would turn out, but lately I’ve had this feeling of peace and confidence that I will be able to shoot my bow before this year is up.  I can’t tell you that I’ll be able to shoot it much, I can’t tell you if I’ll be able to hunt, but I just know that I’ll be able to shoot at least a little bit.  At first, I was just hoping that I would get to shoot again soon, but it was like God took that feeling of hope, and changed it to a sense of peace and confidence as I mentioned a moment ago.  I’m praying that God will give my friend that same sense of peace, and that God will heal my friend in such a way that it impresses the doctor and opens the door for my friend to share his faith with the doctor.  Please join me in praying for my friend, and if you ever have a prayer request, we will be here for you as well. “Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.”  Jeremiah 17:14.  God Bless!
