GOD’s Archers is a family run ministry based out of Southwest Virginia. We have served in Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky and will travel as far as God leads us. We are a 501C3 non-profit ministry.

MISSION STATEMENT

GOD’s Archers is a Christian Ministry that seeks to share GOD’s Word using archery. We are a non-denominational ministry, we simply seek to share GOD’s Word and Love with all because GOD Loves all people. We seek to follow the Great Commission that He set out to hopefully make disciples and teach people about GOD. GOD matters most to us and then the people we serve, archery is just the tool that GOD has called us to use to promote HIS Kingdom. GOD Bless!

Our Back Story

Back in 2016 when I was thirteen I felt God was leading me to start an archery ministry. It wasn’t like I had a vision, I could just hear that still small voice telling me to do an archery ministry. Soon after that I talked to my Mom about it and then Dad. I didn’t know how they would respond because honestly I still had no idea about any part of an archery ministry. Mom started researching archery ministries and we were able to go out and work with a couple local ministries such as Aim for the Cross Outdoors and Arrow Ministry.
We started to get things figured out and ideas of how we were going to operate. However, there was one problem, in order to operate an archery ministry so that we could teach people and let them shoot bows, we needed to buy bows, and Dad had gotten laid off from work. This is how we know that God wanted us to start the ministry, over the course of about six months we were able to acquire several Mathews Genesis bows, arrows, targets, and a trailer all while Dad was laid off. God even provided enough money to get the trailer stickered. We were able to work our first event in the spring of 2017 at a church we are members of. Since then we have been able to serve at block parties, Wednesday night Bible studies, Vacation Bible Schools, even at an Assisted Living Facility and a Nursing Home. God has opened doors and provided in ways that are amazing! God Bless!

What We Do

GOD’s Archers is a ministry that will come free of charge to a civic or church event upon request. At most events I or Dad will use the parts of an arrow to teach different Bible verses. We use verses that remind listeners that God does care about them and that He Loves them, so much so that He gave His Son for us, so that all who believe in Him can have eternal life. After this we will help people to shoot real bows and arrows. We will set up either indoors or outdoors with one of two target options depending on what is needed. Dad and I are certified archery instructors through USA Archery.

Plan of Salvation

We all sin, we all deserve punishment for our sin, and the due punishment for our sin is to be separated from God forever in the Lake of Fire. Yet, even though we don’t deserve to come near Him, God gave His Son to die for our sin, and to rise again on Easter Sunday. Because of God’s gift we can have forgiveness and eternal life through the blood of Jesus Christ that washes us clean when we confess Jesus as Lord. We also must believe not just with our minds but with our heart as well that on the third day God raised Christ up from the dead.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
